SuperSibs! Welcome Packets
Information and welcome packages for parents - offering the opportunity to engage and acknowledge their special
SuperSibs! by presenting them with their own, personalized sibling packets. Packages will include
SuperSibs! VIP Cards, honor ribbons, personal letter from soccer champion, Mia Hamm (a
SuperSib!), Top Tips for SuperSibs!, and fun, surprise items.

Courage Trophies
For young SuperSibs!, trophies personally engraved with the child's name and "For your strength, courage and love, YOU are a
SuperSib!".
SuperSibs! Smilecards
Handmade, creative "happy cards", made by public groups (scout troops, schools, churches, synagogues, service clubs, families, individuals) and sent to
SuperSibs! kids during the year, to bring moments of joy and the reminder that "someone is thinking of them."
Sibstuff Wearables
Siblings will receive periodic packages of logo-identified, fun items to reinforce their participation and affiliation with this special affinity group - brothers and sisters of kids with cancer.
Sibling Beads of CourageŽ Program
SuperSibs! children and teens
who are in their 2nd and 3rd years of our program will participate
in our SuperSibs! Sibling Beads of CourageŽ
Program (provided through a cooperative agreement with Beads of
CourageŽ
www.beadsofcourage.org). Over a two year period, siblings will
receive a total of 25 animal friend and colored beads in packages
mailed quarterly from SuperSibs! Each bead has
special meaning and is intended to serve as a keepsake for ongoing
support and encouragement.
Parties, Picnics and Events
SuperSibs! will be present at local hospital parties, picnics and cancer-related events, to help educate the public about how to include and acknowledge the siblings as their families face pediatric cancer. Our booths will welcome siblings and their brothers or sisters who are or have been in treatment - with special activities, information and delightful giveaways.
SuperSibs! QuiltHugs
QuiltHugs are handmade by talented
SuperSibs! volunteer quilters and wonderful organization partners especially for
SuperSibs! children who are bereaved. As children grieve and heal,
SuperSibs! QuiltHugs bring comfort through warmth and the loving message: "May you always feel wrapped in hugs."
